Make Your Own Polish | Taylor Made Make Your Own Polish Kit

My review of Taylor Made Make Your Own Polish Kits
By Carla Snuggs

Hey friends, I am so excited to share with you these amazing Make Your Own Polish Kits from Taylor Made! I know so many of us our now doing our own nails, especially during this pandemic, and enjoying all things DIY. Making your own nail polish is a great way to customize your nail polish colors and create a cleaner nail polish.

Taylor Made is a woman owned, veteran owned business out of PA. Their products are cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan-friendly and paraben-free. The nail polish is 10-free polish, which means no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene, DBP (dibutylphthalate), ethyl tosylamide, xylene, parabens, phthalates or TPHP (triphenylphosphate). It has also earned the Leaping Bunny certification.

The process is really easy. Just select the color you’d like to achieve. Follow the instructions to mix the nail polish - you’ll be mixing a base, pigment and liquid concentrates. Adjust to your liking and be sure to write everything down on your recipe on the recipe card as you go. Be sure to mix in the center of the placemat to protect your surface. Place the funnel over your nail polish bottle and pour in your nail polish. Then, name and your color.

Here is why I LOVE the kit: The kits are super easy to use, the nail polish is easy to make and it’s so fun. The colors you can create are gogeous and they are long wearing and super clean. The quality is amazing! I have taken my bottles to my manicurist and they love the quality and colors I created. I really love the recipe cards because if you truly love the color you have created, you can keep track of your adjustments and make the polish again if you purchase refills. Also, you do not need a basecoat with this nail polish. This makes a super fun girls night in activity with your crafty friends. I also love that they have a ton of tutorials and videos to give you inspiration and help you perfect your polish. Check out their Instagram (@taylormadepoliish) for more!

Taylor Made also has fabulous Organic Manicure Kit for a clean 15 minute Taylor Made manicure. It includes
