My review of the Neuhauser Electric Straightening Brush

Over the years, I’ve used my fair share of flat irons and other electric straightening tools. It can be a chore to keep my hair straight when I would like it to be. Humidity, flyaways, and just general frizziness when I want a silky straight look, especially when you don’t have the proper tools. Having great straightening tools in my arsenal is very important, especially as a blogger and someone who used to travel regularly before Covid and had to deal with a variety of weather.
I was sent the Neuhauser Electric Straightening Brush for my honest review. I have tried all kinds of straightening tools (including very EXPENSIVE flat irons that cost hundreds of dollars), and I have to say that this Neuhauser is one of my favorite, especially at a price point of under $50. The brush is super sleek, beautiful, effective and very easy to travel with.

It has 20 Heat levels and is one of the only brushes certified safe from radiation and hazardous materials. It heats up fast and has an automatic 1 hour shutoff, so it’s perfect for the girl on the go!
How to use the Neuhauser Electric Straightening Brush
The Neuhauser Electric Straightening Brush is so easy to use! Here are step by step instructions:
1) Brush your hair with a detangling brush or wide-tooth comb before using the straightening brush.
2) Give the brush 30 seconds to heat up completely before using it.
3) It’s best to use it on small sections of hair at a time. If you have thicker or curlier hair, smaller subsections are best.
4) Hold the section with slight tension as you slowly brush downwards. This will help the hair get straighter quicker.
Here’s why I love the Neuhauser Electric Straightening Brush
This brush is the perfect combination of effectiveness and safety. It’s gentler on hair than a typical iron straightener because the heat is more spread out, plus it's ceramic coated so your hair avoids contact with hot metal.
This straightening brush has 20 heat settings from 265F to 450F. If I am straightening my natural hair, I can use it on one of the highest settings safely. When I am straightening synthetic hair, I use a temperature between 270°- 280° (132.2 -137.7°C) so that it doesn’t burn. I am able to play around with the temperature settings to my satisfaction without damaging the hair.
The brush heats up in 30 seconds and it works quickly, with means less passes through the hair and therefore less damage.
I especially love this straightening brush after a day at the beach. I can duck into a bathroom and get my hair straightened very quickly so that I can transition to cocktails and dinner looking flawless.
